What non-drug treatment for insomnia?
It is out of control. I can not fall asleep in less than an hour, and some night (like now), I never do. I do not like the drugs, because to me a hangover. What can I do to deal with this? I've tried meditation exercises, darker my room, and dimming lights for 30 minutes before going to bed.
Well I'll tell you what works for me. I have the same problem. Insomnia usually happens when our minds want to turn off the night. We keep thinking about things and can not sleep. Close your eyes and try relax every muscle in the body. And then get into bed with a book (boring, the better) and read until you get sleepy. Natural over the counter herbal remedies do not work, I tried all of them. They can relax, but you can not sleep.
