The need vitamins?
I was with vitamins for a while (on the motion doctor), and I plan to them again, and I am wondering if I take what would be the kill-or if I should take things apart from what I have planned ... I am very sick person, and I priority to energy and immune-boosters. I take: multivitamin, potassium (potassium, because I deficiency), Vitamin C Iron (just before than after menstration), Cinnamon (for glucose-stabilization ... I'm hypoglycemia), vitamin B complex (energy metabolism) Calcium + D (since women need calcium to prevent osteoperosis), St John's wort (to stabilize mood) and melatonin (for insomnia, regulates sleep cycle) I was also thinking about adding CoQ10 as an antioxidant. Any thoughts?
Most of these will be included in a standard multivitamin, it is not a special need for them all individually - it's expensive, and it's just another take pills. Potassium is exception - How can you overload yourself on this one, if you go completely nuts. St John's wort is not safe and the current round of studies conducted NCCA and others show that it is not particularly effective. Active substances in the mud there with primary liver enzymes in drug metabolism and can cause a wide range of strange and bizarre interactions. I can not in good consciousness say it is safe to refer the matter, especially if you are on any other medicines.
